AIR ACTIVATED CLUTCH PH TRANSFLUID PH units are multiplate clutches air operated suitable for air systems up to 7 bar and can trasmit high torques with minimum overall sizes. This type of clutch can be used extensively in the mechanical industrial field providing constant torque capacity without adjustment and are self compensating for wear. The design consist of a clutch pack, with sintered and steel discs and a cylinder with actuating piston. Air is sent to cylinder trough a rotating union.
