HYDRAULIC POWER SHIFT TRANSMISSION P 320 TRANSFLUID DESCRIPTION The Revermatic is a shuttle type trasmission designed for industrial applications requiring quick directional reversing and smooth clutch control for inching operation. It basically consists of an hydraulic operated self contained planetary gear connected to the engine flywheel through a single stage torque converter. It can be adapted to a range of torque converters and is suitable for mounting on most common engines up to 80 HP. Because there is no mechanical connection between engine flywheel and output shaft, shock loads are eliminated and power is smoothly transmitted. Revermatic is available with a flange output for remote mounting or close coupled to 2 or 4 speed synchronized trasmission. It can also be adapted to suit a wide variety of auxiliary units such as drop boxes or axles. The hydraulic clutches are operated by a patented soft shift valve and the unit is available with either dump or inching control and an electric selector. Pressure is provided by a self contained gear pump and the facility for "high flow" cooling and filtration is standard. For applications, such as fork lift trucks an engine driven P.T.O. can be made available.
