A RemanSelect Engine is a remanufactured engine built to exact John Deere standards. Unlike rebuilt engines that are only taken down to the point of failure, each RemanSelect engine core is completely disassembled, cleaned, and inspected. Every part must pass rigorous quality standards.

The Complete Engine

A "complete" RemanSelect engine is a running engine. It does not include the electrical system, installation gasket kit, or cold-weather starting aid ether injector. Minor accessories may have to be switched over from the core engine.

Quality Processes

Throughout John Deere's factory you will observe numerous examples of how they guarantee that quality is built into a RemanSelect product. Every major component has a "responsibility card" that documents the processes used to remanufacture the part. Every operator is proud to sign their name on the operation they have performed.

Quality begins before a product is released to production. All processes, bills of material, and capability studies are completed, including extended testing and verification of major components prior to release to production.
